Cola reddish-black with a faint tan film.
Smell is mostly like a roasty Porter with only a hint of blueberry and chocolate milk.
Taste brings the treats with a chocolate-blueberry combo that reminds me of those Brookside snacks, paired with a drying cocoa and a cola tang. The blueberry is moderately present and not overpowering, but still, it takes something special for a fruited stout to win me over, and this doesn't quite have it.
A big filling froth persists within a medium body, finishing dry.

From 22oz bottle with new CCB branding. A little light looking for a Porter. Smells of fresh Brooksville Blueberries. Blueberry dominates palate, almost too much but considering all the other Blueberry Ales I've tried, this nails this fruit's flavor perfectly.
