10 ounce tap draw for $7.00, into a short kitchenware glass at Cigar City Brewing.
Arrived flatlined - zero head.
Smell is a muted mish-mash of greens.
Taste is tame citrus and unidentifiable hops. Nothing distinct.
Feel is low carbonation, nothing rises from a vigorous spin, there’s a little bit of resinous oil.
Overall, not often CCB misses on an IPA, but this is kind of a mess that doesn’t match the menu description. Or maybe it was the last squeeze from a days old keg?

Poured a pale orange body with decent head and lace patches down the glass. Smooth, medium body, minimal bitterness underneath something that resembles tangerine sweetness and then has a clean and earthy hop finish. Tends to get a little dirty as it warms and that makes it slightly off-putting at times but still a good beer.

16 ounce can in an oversized imperial pint glass. Canned on 10/29, we’re good.
Darkish golden orange color, opaque and unfiltered looking with a 1F linen colored cap. Nice retention, ample web lacing.
Herbal and sweet orange pop of aromas upon cracking open the can. Lightly dank. There’s no alcohol note.
Orange rind, melon, breaded malt. Some herbal tea in the end.
Full bodied with a bready malt backbone. Hop bitterness keeps the sweetness to a likable minimum. Just shy of syrupy.
A good take on DIPA, flavorful and enjoyable.

Very cloudy orange brew; opaque and hazy.
Intensely herbal nose, from oregano, pepper, basil, and mint, to more fruit tones of grapefruit, lemon, and orange.
Taste is all Galaxy: very bright and herbal, and moderately sweet.
