Jesus H Christ...I wouldn't say they improved upon Xquic, but this is unbelievably delicious in different ways. CCB really knows what they're doing with coffee, and to add all this perfectly roasty beanage to Xquic, it's divine, with a touch of dark oak complexity in the background.
I'd love to do a side-by-side of this next to Maple BA Huna/"Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout with Natural Flavors"/Mother of all Hunahpu's, but alas, I just drank my last bottle, and this Xquic variant has only been offered on draft once as far as I know. The aforementioned Mother of all Hunahpu's was such a mind-blowingly incredible revelation that it's really hard to guess whether I would like this or that more, but their awesome treatment of coffee with this gives it the slight edge, at least in my imagination.
