Collaboration with Three Weavers Brewing Company
Zest from the unusually shaped and remarkably aromatic Buddha's Hand fruit brings a complex citrus quality to this American IPA brewed with our fellow CANarchists at California's 3 Weavers Brewing. Samahdi IPA may not bring you into complete union with the divine, but it'll help.
Fresh squeezed grapefruit, mango and papaya aromas are referenced in the unique aroma of the Buddha's Hand fruit added in excess to this American IPA, with hop aromas of tangerine and melon complimenting. On the palate, papaya, clementine and honeydew are balanced by a moderate bitterness and a soft caramel-like maltiness.

A: slight haze; deep gold in color; 1 finger ivory head that receded to a wispy cap; very nice rings of lace;
S: the Buddha's Hand comes through very nicely;
T: the Buddha's Hand also comes through here, but there's a little bit of a soapy character that interferes with my enjoyment; mild bitterness at the end;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; lightly dry finish;
O: the Buddha's Hand adds an interesting twist to the style;
