Bottle from Florida Thanks to Scottsbeer.
L: very dark brown/burgundy with brown fairly small Brn head.
S: leather, cherries, tobacco, oak, vanilla, peat, dates/raisins.
T: pretty much the same with the addition of some chocolate, candied sugar, dates, smoke, and a lot of bourbony boozy heat.
F: not very thick, smooth and boozy. Moderate carbonation.
O: A solid dark Belgian ale. Could also pass as a quadruple with a bit of stout characteristics. Pretty complex which I like. Pretty hot, but not always unwelcome on a drizzly day. And what do you expect with the 11+% + a bourbon barrel.

16.9oz bottle poured into a CCB snifter. Bottling date of 7/23/19 etched on the neck of the bottle. Belgian-style dark ale with cherries and aged in bourbon barrels? Let’s go! Unsurprisingly, this mixture of flavors works wonderfully. Smooth, malty, sweet but not too sweet. Really good!
