(Billed as a double milk imperial stout) Poured a black body with almost no head and therefore no lace down glass. Aroma is boozy, woody , slight vanilla sweetness from the booze and a touch of milk. The beer is smooth, thick, sticky, boozy (and the booze seems to dominate as the beer warms), and chewy. Taste profile has some sweetness derived from vanilla bean and something akin to a taste of chocolate. Some heat comes through on the finish and while a little too boozy for me it is a nice beer to relax with.
