(billed as a douple porter) Poured a black body with minimal head and almost no lace. Apple-butter aroma, at least to me, with strong smells of booze in the nose. Slick tasting and smooth, has an almond nuttiness coming through and the booze, at least in the beer's taste and feel, is mostly hidden (much more so than the aroma) although you do get some booze on the finish. Not really much going on in this beer as the ABV makes it a slow sipper, and it has a nutty sweetness with a touch of malt sweetness as well and isn't overly dry.
