Samsa's Dark Lager

Poured a dark brown body with one-finger khaki head that left lace sheath down the glass. Aroma has some floral and herbal hops along with a slight nutti- or toffe-ness to it. Medium body, slightly chewy, has a good mop base to it that has a slight sweetness to it, so reminds me of hazelnut and toffee for some reason. Some good herbal hops on the background give a crisp finish and add balance to this easy drinking dark lager.

Came across this beer while visiting CCB… hadn’t seen it in stores before, so may only be available in cans at the tap room.
Poured with tan head, deep copper, clear.
Big malty nose (toasty, caramel, molasses), low hops (spice)
Balance is to caramelly malts, medium-low bitterness
Med body, pretty creamy
Very enjoyable.
