Citrus, spice, and effervescence each share a place in the sunshine inside this Belgian-Style White Ale brewed with orange peel, coriander, and wheat. Inspired by the finest witbiers of Belgium, Frost Proof Belgian-Style White Ale boasts a slightly higher alcohol strength than many beers in the style, lending a more expressive fruit character and assertive flavor profile. From the Palmetto Prairie and beyond, this beer offers the perfect accompaniment to food, friendship, and the outdoors.

Hazy, yellow color. Big, white head. Coriander, yeasts, and orange zest in the aroma. Light, refreshing taste with notes of spices. A well-done witbier.

Copenhagen 14/10 2023. 35,5 cl can from Meny, Nordens Plads, Frb. F. Orange can with a stampwith the name of the beer and Cigar City's characteristic logo.
Pours unclear pale yellow with a mid-sized white head. Bubbly. Settles as 0,2 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Meagre remnants of foam floating about. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense but gets stronger as the beer warms up. A sweet malty odor mingling with a fruity sour scent and a bit of spice. Sweet pale malts, citrus and lemon. Cumin and coriander.
Rather strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively, tingling, fizzy texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger tart, sourness. Aftertaste is a bit tart. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry and sour.
Lively and refreshing.

3/9/24 Poured from a 12 oz can purchased from Washington Beer Store.
Aroma of slight banana bread, honey, coriander. "If" there is orange here it's very slight.
Taste follows aroma. Drying in the mouth.
A decent offering, but we wouldn't go out of our way to find this again.

A- The coloration of this is yellow with orange juice like hues, and plenty of yeast laden haze, providing a cloudy, traditional looking wit bier. The head is very white, and starts around a full finger in thickness, before slowly settling down to a cloud like texture sitting over top the liquid, and the carbonation would appear to be fine yet plentiful, as there are many columns of fizz rising to the top around the inside of the tulip glass. Lacing appears to be sticky enough to just hang onto the glass as well, making soft shapes that eventually, albeit slowly, become part of the ring of foam.
S- I had to laugh at a previous review about the band-aid smell....nothing like it lol.....but rather, there are aromas of rich yeast, plenty of freshly baked white bread, vanilla bean mixed in with baking spices of clove, nutmeg and coriander, orange peel, tangerine and grapefruit rind zest, and a finish that is of dry wheat kernel, and plenty of yeast richness, yet cleansing on the nostrils.
T- The flavors follow suit to the aromas quite well, with plenty of creamy sweetness upfront, vanilla softness, dry wheat kernel/malt caramel like richness, muted citrus flesh such as Florida orange, tangerine and grapefruit tartness, baking spice....the coriander and clove are most upfront, and the finish is mainly of heavy yeast, fresh dairy cream and a slight hopped bitterness, which does some of the balancing act to keep this one very likeable on the palate long term.
M/O- The mouthfeel is super creamy, rich, and medium/full in body, the carbonation is very velvety too, making this a highly drinkable Belgian style Wit beer. I think this pulls in what Panhandle living is all about....creamy, flavorful, refreshing....definitely a beer that I would love to enjoy again if given the chance!

L: Light yellowish orange with a large white head, really good lacing
S: Traditional yeast notes of band aid and clove
T: Sweetness up front, I get the orange and coriander that the can describes. Aftertaste is mostly the yeast notes I got in the nose.
F: Light to medium
O: A good representation of the style, a lighter version though. Thats not a bad thing in that it adds to its drinkability.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of wheat, oranges. Taste follows the aroma, some spices are present. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a refreshing and solid beer.

12 oz can with a 6 August 2022 canning date stamped on the bottom along with "Made in NC".
Appearance. Served in a Belgian snifter where the golden body was topped by a moderate size white head that has good retention. Limited clarity.
Not a favorite style but I appreciated the complex aroma and flavor that was not overly dominated by notes of bananas or clove.

12 oz can into a pint glass at fridge temperature.
Goldish yellow, fine dense foam.
Smells of aromatic spice, bready.
Taste hangs. Leans into Belgian wit, but keeps a Florida thang alive. Yep. Corriander. Orange zest.
Feel is festive; beach, dinner table. Thin. Refreshing.
Overall - an upgrade of Blue Moon., no orange slice required.
