started off with some bread and yeast tones, but soon warmed to reveal a nice fruity presence. peach, banana and orange. Very sweet and well balanced. The taste started off very hoppy, again with the juicy peach and light oak mixed with , Pineapple, fresh tasting. Felt a bit slick when sipping, not watered down at all though. A slight hint of alcohol, but not bad, just enough to let you know it was there. The sweetness and bitter/sour were very well balanced off of each other, and in the malts vs hops war, there was no definitive winner in this one. This was a great brew, very drinkable, and very nice. I would love to try this on ta

Appearance: Slips out of the modestly-sized growler a clouded, orange-hued body with a splotchy, white head.
Smell: Aroma smelling of cereal grains, subtle floral accents, sugary-sweet peach nectar, and rippling booze.
Taste: Sweet, lightly grainy maltiness with a trace of carefully selected corn kernels. Then, a jolt of peach schnapps. Flutter of pale malted barley. Spicy, earthy hops with a touch of bitterness. Modest peach taste on the back end, as the sweetness and alcohol warmth takes over. Finishes about the same, a bit syrupy.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Bemusing enough for a reasonably-sized glassful, but the pendulum pounding back and forth between the heavy sweetness and alcoholic heat can only be charming for so long.

This variant is neck-and-neck with tangerine for my favorite Batch #69 infusion. Though it looks and feels the status quo, the peach reveals itself in the aroma and flavor. In terms of aroma, it adds a soft fruit element that is very complementary. In terms of flavor it highlights a sweetness that I am less fond of, so it doesn't work as well to complement.
