Having deserted El Cat after a million years, this is one of my dwindling store of bottles. Weird sounding 500ML split with my wife.
The pour is black & still. That smell…it’s outside my experience. Wild.
Sculptor Dwarf brings the experimentation back to the old El Cat. Figs & what I presume is sesame sprint rampant over this thing, & the whiskey barrel holds strong in the background. Black potatoes, black Russians, black spices combine into a black hole of oddity. Really should be poured in small, medicinal doses.
Tough one to judge, this is the pinnacle of “WTF were you thinking” but doesn’t manage to suck, which is impressive. Pretty good?
