Wednesday is a barleywine style ale aged in cognac orange liqueur barrels with vanilla and dedicated to the one and only Gasparilla Pirate Parade. With a flavor profile as big as the parade itself this brew boasts hints of toffee and orange liquor with subtle notes of vanilla and dark fruit.

Served in a snifter glass from the bottle which i picked up at the brewery a few days ago.
Appearance: Fake mahogany color with a subtle tan head, coming off an almost off-white color. Orange tint to the body.
Taste: Sweet butterscotch with hints of toffee candy and sweet malts. Purple grapes, super wine lime...whiskey, more brandy to the palates.
Mouth: Sticky body soft carbonation, sticky after taste which sticks with you like sugar on candy.
Overall: Incredible beer, imagine this beer being the cigar city version of King Henry. Just like that. Take it, drink it and share it. Salud!
