On tap at Hunahpu release.
A: Dark brown color. The pour drops a fluffy tan head that fades to a thin rim and hangs around for a while.
A: Whoa, huge notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and chai tea. You still get the underlying roastiness of the base beer, but the "east india" spices really take over.
T: For how much is going on, this really comes together well. The cinnamon and nutmeg play nicely with the roasted malts and the tea gives it a tangy aspect at the back. Finishes dry and sweet.
M: Light to medium body, perfect carbonation, just like all other ccb beers.
D and overall impression: Drinkability is pretty good considering all the bold flavors. Overall, I thought this was an excellent treatment, and one I hope they do in the future. Very good brew. Skal.
