22oz bottle poured into a Cigar City barrel-aged Spiegelau glass.
Oily black body with a creamy mocha head that leaves spotty lacing.
Aroma is mostly Bourbon barrel with faint maple, & cinnamon. Really top class!
Taste is heavy on the cinnamon and maple syrup, with a Bourbon barrel char at the end. Almost the opposite of the nose.
Mouthfeel is light, fluffy, and creamy.
This is probably a one-off for CCB, but it shows their capabilities for making amazing barrel-aged stouts.

Poured a black body with some tan head that quickly died. Booze and charred wood are slightly noticeable in aroma, but maple syrup and vanilla dominate the nose. Smooth, almost creamy, thanks to wood and vanilla, but still really sticky, like syrup, with a heated cinnamon and almost meaty (thanks to maple) sweetness that is cloying and makes for a real slow sipper.
