Aroma is malts/rice/adjuncts and watermelon/fruit/berries. The flavor is rice/malts/adjuncts, slightly oily texture and a medium sweet watermelon finish.

Yup, it's an extremely light rice lager with watermelon flavor allright. Light on mouthfeel, light on taste (except for the subdued watermelon), light on everything but definitely slammable.

Funny little light beer with a very clear, poor nice white head with nice white lacing. Nose is logger like with a tin of watermelon splashed in. Taste is same. No real bitterness.

Making a splash with a light beer, Cigar City embraces their warm weather climate with a lighter body, lighter gravity lager that's sure to quench the thirst in any weather.
Pale straw and carrying the most modes of haze, Sumo Splash builds a fluffy white head and a subtle scent of watermelon that floats gently on a soft bed of grain, fruitiness and floral hops. A scantly laid sweetness bounces off of the early palate with the lightness of communion wafer and powdered sugar. Fleeting sweetness leaves way for light fruits of apple and lemon, and then watermelon whimsy before a light hop bitterness ensures refreshment, dryness and drinkability.
Not overly flavorful and celebrating only nuanced flavor, this rice lager is all about refreshment first and foremost.
