1139th Review on BA
Draft to Taster
@Cigar City
App- Pours out a jet inky black with maybe a 1/8" of bubbles. No cling but more like molasses in a glass.
Smell- Big aromatics on this one with licorice, coffee, sweet sugars, and whispy full booze.
Taste- Much like the nose. One note of sweet w/o a backing layer to play off of. I will say that having never had Bohr or Dirac can't know the blend. Very boozy with a lot of sweet dark sugars and anise licorice.
Mouth- A full bodied viscous pour with a low carbonation with residual sweet malts and candied licorice.
Drink- It's okay. I can see making a big stout but too one dimensional for me. I would like to have the base beers to compare.
