Enjoyed on tap at the Cigar City Brewing taproom.
This beer pours out a deep black. It's got sweet malts and coffee on the nose. The taste is very smooth with sweet and toasted malts and a strong coffee presence. Cigar City does great coffee beers, this one is sweeter than the Cubano Espresso, providing a different side of the coffee spectrum. Full and smooth, and very drinkable. A solid imperial coffee beer that goes down way easier than the 10% suggests.
