On tap at Bx Beer Depot. Poured into a plastic cup. Classy.
Appearance - Deep orange, but tough to see in the dark here. Not much head. Could be the cup.
Smell - Herbal and a little citrusy. Musty pine resin. Not abundantly hoppy, but enough to mostly drown out a biscuit malt.
Taste - Brighter orange flavor. Immediately becomes herbal and bitter. Bready malt backbone, but light.
Mouthfeel - Light but quite bitter compared to other flavors it delivers.
Overall - Not sure how well this hop stands on its own. Just doesn't deliver a complex flavor.

A: Hazy, cloudy, unfiltered, orange colored body with a light amber hue. Well carbonated with tons of micro sized bubbles rising to keep intact an off white, frothy head.
S: Orange, toasted bread. Not explosive in hop nor malt aroma.
T/M: Dry feel, light orange citrus, mild malts of toasted bread. Flavors seem mute, medium to light body. Herbal hop notes linger with some green apple flavors.
O: Best quality is a drinkable IPA, though would have never guessed it is an IPA from the lackluster hop profile. If drinking Roaring Lion after a Jai Alai a hop-thirsty pallet would be dissatisfied. Worth trying but not seeking out another.

Pint on tap at Kickbacks in JAX. A hazy orange-amber color with a modest size but exceptionally durable tan head. Good hoppy aroma with floral notes and a faint hint of citrus, but only has the strength of a typical APA. Earthy-fruity hop flavor [3.75] has some balance provided by the malts. Long lasting, medium-bitter aftertaste.
O: a solid, and somewhat distinctive IPA.
