On nitro tap at Rattle n Hum, NYC. Those Cigar Ciy folks have it tooo-gether. Never seen this before. The nitro might be a cheat but this is one really smooth concoction. Deep amber with a standard nitro head & lacing. The smoothness is the thing. That & the sweet/bitter balance are note worthy.
Not sure about the name but there is no confusion on my part. Count me in.

Pours dark end of golden yellow. Smells of dark bread and some hops. Taste is same. Average mouthfeel, nothing remarkable at all. Overall had the escorted breadiness of a red ale but is lighter and bread note is fainter and not as toasted as expected.

On nitro tap at Playalinda Brix Project 4/14/17. Mahagoney colored with a thick head. Nice vanilla aroma and flavor with hints of caramel. Smooth AF.

On nitro at the brewery--dark, burnt red with a large, creamy, clingy khaki head.
The nitro has this smelling metallic and not much else.
Taste is old oak, caramel, and nuts, without much citrus to comment on.
Thin and dry.

Draught @ Top Hops Bottle Shop: This one pours a clear amber color. There was a huge tan head on it. The aroma was good. Some oak and vanilla, as well as some malts. The taste is also very good. Caramel malt, vanilla and oak notes to the flavor. Very creamy texture.
