Enjoyed on-tap at the Brass Tap in Orlando. I love the White Oak Jai Alai so I was excited to try this offering. It has less hops and oakiness as the regular version, but the blueberry is a nice addition. Overall, I enjoy the regular White Oak Jai Alai better but this one was an interesting brew to try.

Had on tap at a CCB takeover. Loved it compared to the peach I had later at the brewery.

Look was wonderful!

Full bodied and yet very light for an IPA. Must have been filtered because it did not have the classic white oak look of floaties.

On cask at Vine & Barley Palm City. Served in a snifter.

Appearance - Deep orange. Hazy. Nice white head. Thick collar and a nice surface layer.

Smell - Blueberry and grapefruit hops. Some oak, but not as intense as White Oak Jai Alai. Sweet caramel malt.

Taste - The blueberry is really nice. Genuine fruit flavor. Much more oak. Hops seem secondary to a caramel maltiness. It does have a strong grapefruit pith bitterness, but the blueberry flavor lasts the longest.

Mouthfeel - Low carbonation. Medium heavy. Sweet, like Jai Alai tends to be.

Overall - The berry flavor is great. And White Oak is, as always, delicious.

On tap at the brewery tasting room.

Served in a CCB pint.

A: Poured a fairly crisp, clear, gold color with a bit of whipped topping that stained the glass on the way down.

S: Got the IPA part first, but the blueberry component was definitely unmistakable. Potent!

T: Extremely well-balanced with the blueberry playing second fiddle to the fiddle, but not by much, This was NOT a fruit beer. I liken this to DFH's "Aprihop." Sure, the apricot plays a role, but ultimately, it's an IPA and presents itself as such.

M: Ridiculous lacing on this... the glass ended up being used car wash stuff. The carb was picture perfect.

O: I really, really wanted to bring a growler of this stuff home, but those of you who know how CCB operates knows that that is futile idea. :(

Adopter with a touch of purple, slightly hazy, fluffy white head, moderate retention, nice lacing

S fresh blueberries, light hops, coconut,

T big bright and vibrant fresh blueberries, light coconut, vanilla, sharp hops, citrus, light resin.

M crisp, sharp, lightly sweet, a little more than thin, good carbonation

O excellent flavored ipa. An interesting treatment to a delicious base beer.
