Review from notes in May.

A- hazy and darker copper than average IPA

S- smell was unreal. apples and cinnamon came through completely and made my mouth start to water

T- started out in the 50 degree range and was very hops forward with apple hints and cinnamon on the back end. Let it warm another 10 or so and the hops faded to the back with the apple and cinnamon being characteristic of apple jacks. loved it warmer

M- thicker than one would expect from IPA

O- avg IPA temp it was a little too hoppy to appreciate the apple cinnamon. warmer and it was killer. wish they put it up again.

Arrives a rich honey colored liquid with a tan head floating over it. Retention isn't so great and there is little lace.
Smell is as promised: apple, cinnamon, clove, malt. Great balance, too.
Taste is better. Sweet with malt, apple, cinnamon, clove notes, faint hops. De-freaking-licious.
Medium plus body, light effervescence, smooth and slightly warming. Not the hoppiness you expect and I find it refreshing. Get some.

A copper, hazy, bone white head, nice lacing

S apples, cinnamon, apple pie, pie crust, apple jacks cereal, light pine and hop

T apple and cinnamon beginning, then goes straight into a big hoppy ipa, then back to a cinnamon flavor. The aftertaste is resinous.

M a little thick for an ipa, crisp.

O this one is odd. Smell is amazing, taste is not there for me. It changes like a transformer without being complex. The flavors don't really match and its not really balanced. It's sweet but hoppy but sweet but hoppy but sweet. It doesn't seem to know what it's doing.

I'd say an apple cinnamon lager may be better for next time.
