Reviewed from notes. Had on-tap at CCB tasting room. Served in a pint glass.
A: Completely hazy, and a light yellow to an off-white color. Small white head, and just a bit of visible carbonation. Not completely surprising for a berliner, but not a terribly attractive beer.
S: Lightly sour, grainy, a bit fruity and a bit lemony.
T: Follows the nose, but more tart and more lemon flavors than the nose. Moderately grainy with some dry funk. The fruit flavors (I guess it's the guava) are there but it's not a hit-over-the-head fruitiness. Tart and grainy in finish.
M: Light body, no alcohol to speak of, and good carbonation.
O: This was pretty darn good. Not the crazy sour beer that typifies the so-called "Florida Weisse", but it's very good. I wonder when they're going to do a bottle release of one of these...
