Served in a CCB snifter at the Brewpub 8/18/2013
Pours dark with minimal carbonation. Smells of malt but without any notable spice as you find in some Belgian ales. Taste is similar to the smell, somewhat sweet and typical of a Belgian style dark ale. Light bodied and very easy to drink. Flavor does a great job masking the 8.2% ABV.
Overall, good stuff and I think the Brewpub is really settling in and developing its own identity...
