Beer bottle (33 cl.), tasted in 2007.
Appearance : yellow color (veiled), with white foam head.
Smell : yeast and coriander aromas.
Taste and mouthfeel : too sweet with notes of wheat and coriander.
Drinkability : a refreshing beer in the style Belgian Witbier.

A - Very cloudy, large head, complex ring of lacing.
S - Lemon pith, gumball, sour grapefruit flesh.
T - Light malt, with some light grapefruit citrus, a bit of seltzer water. The aftertaste is biscuity with a faint citrus and pine hop presence.
M - Smooth, thin, very refreshing.
D - Not bad, but not great. I won't bother with this again, especially since there is a good chance I won't find it again.

Pours a very hazy light gold color, with a two finger head. Nice retention, leaves little behind.
Aroma is quite spicy both from the yeast and a heavy handed dose of coriander. Smells a bit like raw, unmalted wheat as well.
Flavor is smooth, light and incredibly refreshing. Strong citrus presence up front, mostly orange, followed by a solid malt presence and a smooth spicy finish. Very well balanced and constructed. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, smooth, and almost "powdery". I'm not sure how to describe that exactly. Drinkability is excellent.
Quite a nice little Wit from Huyghe. My bottle only says Floris, not Florisgaarden... perhaps this is a new release in America with a different label. Either way, I found it to be pretty damn tasty, and I'll be picking it up again. Recommended.

Quite light in terms of Abv, but it at least had a bit of flavour. Awful appearance, hazy gold, with a disturbingly large amount of sediment in the body, kind of a bit sweet, with slight spicy coriander aswell, i guess its OK, if you can get pass the ugly sediment.
