330ml bottle. Tulip glass. From my notes (sep´11). Orangish gold, hazy appearance. Off-white froth, brief crown. Sweet & spiced aroma, floral fragancy & lemon notes to the nose. Sweet at first sip -hints of candies & crystal malts- followed by acidic citric/woody touch. Spicy palate. Ripe fruits in the middle. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Slightly tartar & dry bitter finish.

Sorry but this comment is in french :

Appearance : Fauve, limpide (sur lie), très saturée , mousse serrée et stable.
Smell : Odorat bien malté, acidulé ; nez d'aromates très agréable et d'une grande finesse.
Taste and mouthfeel : Saveur maltée, douceur céréalière aromatique et sans excès, acidulée. Amertume légère, arrière gôut long et fin.
Drinkability : une bière noble

BBE Apr 09. White and lasting head and deep golden beer without any haze. Nose is strongly strange old hops, spicy, anis. Far from fresh overall and more to the musty/ sweet corn/vegatable side and certainly having diacethyl. Taste is strong, alcoholic, koreander spicy and well bittered. Is there sweet gale, dunno but IMO not in harmony at all this brew mostly cause of smell though and drinkable when real cold and probably enjoyabl;e when you have a cold.
