Appearance is brown with not much head or lacing. The colour is like cola but a bit lighter.
Smell is boozy with a bit of Belgian yeast.
Taste is sweet but also very tart and sour. Quite pleasant but not as complex as Chimay or other classics of this style.
Overall, an okay beer and quite representative of the style but not enough depth or complexity to be a great Belgian beer. The sour edge could be seen as a fault too.

Looks like cola, dark brown near black with reddish amber hues and despite trying to stir up some froth absolutely no head after a minute of pouring.
Quite a dank aroma, notes of horse manure, rotting cabbage and most unfortunately banana bread (urrgggh)
Burnt sugar, candied peel and alcohol
Thin & fizzy
not terrible but there is an overwhelming feeling of empty calories & wasted alcohol units
