First of all, where does this beer get off being this seductive? The malts were skanky. The hop flavor is understated but it's the smell that gets you here. It's like putting down bedroom windows as to let the stank out. After a hard pour, the head dissipates quickly--but don't, do not lord, let this give you the wrong impression. The uriny yellow that's left invites you to bask in the glass. While many may feel a conflux of emotions, I personally take delight in the tempestuous mouthful.
Listen, it's not pretty, in fact it's just plain dirty. It's not full bodied, but it's enough to get the job done for you. And fellas (and ladies), sometimes, that's all you need to get down.

The bottle is the most remarkable aspect of this beer: a pretty girl, covered only by a scratch-off swimsuit. If there's a naked girl on the label, the beer probably isn't very good, and this is no exception. The beer is a fizzy yellow liquid...golden-straw in color with an average white head (a little lace). The smell is of cereal grains, mixed with a hint of malt. Very low hop aroma. The taste is similar...a hint of malt, but lots of grainy and cereal notes. Nothing particularly off about the flavors, just not a lot there. Mild sweetness and a little bittering hop for balance. Light mouthfeel. Typical lager.

When I moved to England in the late 80's my neighbour used to travel to Calais to bring back many cases of cheap generic French lager duty free that he called "Eurofizz" for his rugby team to chug after games in the sheds before heading to the local pub for a decent real beer. I tried one and assumed that it was legal to dilute beer with water in France!
This is Eurofizz, Belgian style.
(and anything to say about the label has already been said!)

33cl bottle purchased at Gambrinus in Bruges, Belgium
*the menu read something along the lines of...'hold this one up to the light and you are treated to a nice surprise'
i thought this description has something to do with its color...i was gladly mistaken =)
A- Lets start with the glass...The Sexy Lager glass sports a decent looking topless chick leaning on something! nice!
The bottle has a very attractive blond in a blue green bathing suit in between purple rope of some kind...oh and did i mention that her bathing suit is SCRATCH OFF! score!
The beer pours a sorry yellow with a pretty large white head.
S- Lagerish, nothing special, a bit funky if anything.
T- Unbalanced, over malty, more funk, smoky
M- light and boring
D- The beer is not good. The marketing is. The only reason i would ever think of ordering this beer again is soley to see if they had a label change with a new hot chick to stare at while drinking.

I found this beer at a Belgian Restaurant. I asked the waitress about the beer and she did not recommend it. I had to try it just because of the novelty value. The beer poured like a mass produced lager, with piss yellow color. The taste is about the same, glad I was eating while drinking it, to get the taste out of my mouth. The mouth feel was thin and watery. I had a hard time just finishing the beer.

I wasn't overly impressed, seeing that I'm not a lager fan either. Got this beer as a gift from some friends of mine, the labels were a laugh. My 2 bottles still had thier scratchy bikinis on. I got the "smiling girl with blue necklace" and the "bike girl". Very sexy.
Poured with a nice thick white head, little to no aroma, mostly malt. Tasted thin, lightly malty, slight hop, no lingering aftertaste. Not a beer I'd buy or drink if I could manage it.

Was dissapointed because someone had already scratched of the bikini. 80's style picture. I have no doubts that this is Campus Premium re-bottled (particularly because its brewed by the same brewer), similiar to most Belgian lagers, bland and easy to drink.
