Brewed only for the Christmas and New Year, Noël complete the "Delirium" trilogy. Its appearance is a superb warm copper to red color, recalling "Nocturnum" except in its taste. It hides its subtlety by multiple levels of flavor and should be approached with confidence, with a tinge typical Christmas, sauced with a sweet touch, then bitterness.

Copenhagen 16/12-2016. 75 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. Off-white Ceramic bottle. Pink Elephant in Santa costume ice skating on the label.
Pours clear reddish brown with an off-white head. A lot of bubbles. Settles as a very thin layer of foam.
Aroma is sweetish. Belgian yeast, banana, marzipan, bubblegum and a whiff of alcohol.
Carbonation is quite strong. Thick texture.
Flavor is pretty sweet and a little bit sugary. Medium bitterness and spicy finish. You almost do not notice that this beer holds an ABV of 10,0.
A real nice, real strong Belgian.

Pours a deep ruby-brown with about a two finger creamy off-white head. The aroma is notes of caramel, raisins, figs, and holiday spices. The taste is malty and slightly sweet upfront with flavors of toffee, plum, and brown sugar. It finishes warm and smooth with a touch of alcohol.
The mouthfeel is medium body with lively carbonation. Smooth and slightly creamy. Overall, a festive Belgian strong ale—rich, complex, and perfect for slow sipping during colder months.

Poured from its distinctive large bottle that's painted to look like stoneware. Deep red color with a massive pile of tan head that overflowed the glass.
Strong, fruity Belgian yeast nose, with prune, raisin and subtle spices. Rounded malt flavors with hints of molasses, raisins and a spice note that reminds me of rye malt. In the finish, Belgian yeast notes build to an herbal and spicy peak. More and more depth of flavor emerges as it warms.
Medium to thick body, with full, creamy carbonation. Hops bitterness is almost lost behind the malt sweetness. Moderate alcohol warmth.
This is a classic Belgian malt bomb, with a noticeable, but not extreme, spice addition.

A bottle into a stemless snifter.
A mahogany colored pour with abundant with lasting retention and some random lacing.
Malty with pleasant caramel, fruit, especially cherry and banana.
Enjoyable mild bitterness, not as boozy as expected.

Very nice. Not sure what makes it a Christmas beer. Good Belgian. A touch sweet. Spice is subtle.
