Bottle.
Poured a medium to deep and hazy amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of yeast and fruits. Tastes of sweet ripe apples with light yeast and light spices. Some caramel lurking in the background. Lively, but somewhat thin and almost watery body. Medium sweet.

Pours a nice 20% head into a chimay chalice, cinnamon colored beer with some cloudiness.
Smell is subtle and somewhat spicy, such as cinnamon the most distinguishable note I can find. sweet odor with other spices present as well.
Taste is somewhat old, while this came recently from belgianshop the label shows signs of age. notes of the spices as noted above follow quickly from the malty and mildly sour front end. noting that this beer has a best before date of sept of 04 or 05. Would like more pronounced spices in the taste to complement the nose.
Despite the name this tastes more like a pale ale, brown with notes resembling the classic english style.
One of the more interesting products (outside the delirium line) from this brewery. Certainly more fun than the attention-getting labels of guillotine and mere noel. Would like to try with a little less time in bottle.
