Reviewed as Bobeline Black Label. Very dark ale, almost like a german dunkel. Aroma is slightly sour and smoky. Appearance is sort of dull, and taste is mildly bitter, with some nice dark roasted malt. A different sort of Belgian ale.

Slightly winey nose where it perceives a touch of fruit such as prunes, red and black and a little mushy. The taste is quite strong with a small taste of liquor and even a red wine like a Gevrey Chambertin heady. Finish rather mild with little persistence but with a touch of pretty nice cellar. Not bad at all, just a little heady. Far behind the blonde version.

Another anonymous product from Hughye brewery, the brewer of dozens of crap beers with other brewers' names on them.
Pours almost opaque dark red with small yellowish head.
Nose is of malt and corn. Ingredients are not listed on this beer but I suspect adjuncts of some sort. Hop character is minimal/not present.
taste is harsh bitterness, fading to milder bitterness, like a dubbel on steroids. the maltiness is almost overkill. it is quite intense at first and there is nothing offsetting it. Aftertaste is an improvement. At best, this beer is unbalanced.
Like many other beers from hughye I have found or added to this site, this is worth avoiding.
