Bottle from Salling. Creamy White good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy and yeasty aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Some fruity esters. Oily palate. Nice witt.

A 750ml bottle with a BB of Dec 2012. Picked up ages ago and stored in my garage. The label is rather uninspired (grey?), but as it's brewed by the people who make Delirium it can't be all bad.

Poured into a straight pint glass (twice). A light straw colour with plenty of hazy yeast sediment swirling around. Low carbonation. Produces a huge head of creamy white foam with great retention; this slowly reduces to a thick surface layer. Aroma of earthy yeast esters, wheat, orange peel, coriander, mild clove, lemon and subtle banana hints. Nice.

Tastes of yeast esters and wheat, with a dry finish. Notes of earthy yeast, wheat, orange peel, coriander, clove, spice and faint banana. Quite dry, with little bitterness to speak of. Mouthfeel is smooth, dry and fairly light, though the body feels good. A tad undercarbonated - could be more spritzy. Aftertaste of earthy yeast, orange and coriander.

Tasty and understated - this is a quality wit. The yeasty character is great, with distinct but restrained use of orange peel, coriander and spice. Well-judged and very refreshing. The only odd thing is the lack of carbonation - I would have expected more from a bottle conditioned beer. Perhaps the cork allowed seepage? Anyway, this is a trivial point that doesn't detract much from the experience. Well worth trying, and I would certainly have it again at the right price.

Light golden colour & a little bit cloudy as expected with a foamy, two-finger sized white head.

Bubblegum, some clove & some good banana notes all work well together in this witbier with no one smell really sticking out.

Clove, banana & bubblegum. There is also a mild citrus flavour towards the end of the drink.

Light side of medium bodied but in no way watery, it is very smooth & easy to drink like most good wheat beers.

An nice beer & probably ranking as average but slightly below average when compared with other wheat beers I have tried. Would buy again if it was cheaper.
