A: Clear, golden yellow, white head, thin ring of retention, slight lacing.
S: Steelie-mineral hopping, sweet honey.
T: A surprising amount of bitterness here, with a light, steelie-mineral (Saaz?) hopping; nice flavour from the honey, but it's not too sweet.
M: Light to moderate body is quite smooth.
D: A good drinker.

On tap at Dockside Brewery. In recent times it alternates with their Winter Bock every 6 months.
Appearance: Clear gold, little lacing.
Aroma: Warm honey with subtle hops.
Taste: Sweet blossomy honey tempered with a tart hop bitterness, perhaps some grapefruit. A good contrast.
Mouthfeel: On the thick side of medium bodied.
Drinkability: This is pretty good, as the hop bitterness and honey sweetness play off each other nicely, enabling the drinker to appreciate both without tiring of either. As a result, it is possibly an acquired taste for the average honey lager drinker, but really should be tried. Nice to find a honey lager with a good hop finish.
