Thanks to Hoppypocket for this bottle. Bottled in JUN 2012.
Poured in the tulip.
A - Cloudy dark copper with a big strawberry glow around the edges. About half a finger of tan coloured head formed and receded to a paper-thin coating across the top of the beer.
S - Slight funk aroma up front with lighter strawberry and bready malt aromas in the background. Not nearly as much strawberry as I expected in the nose.
T - A huge fresh strawberry flavour is complimented by bready malts and a good tartness that really comes to the forefront and balances out the sweetness. The strawberry is not overwhelming at all and is well integrated in to this beer.
M -Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Bottle: Poured a hazy reddish color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of fresh strawberry is quite astonishing and well balanced with light cereal notes. Taste is refreshing with good notes of freshly picked strawberry, balanced sweetness and some solid cereal notes. Body is full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very nice fruit beer and a lot more refreshing and complex then I had anticipated.
