Our delicious Saison re-fermented on Black Currants. A mild Saison body with the fruits upfront and a nice rosy color. -contains sulfites.

Poured into a tulip.
The appearance held a semi-dark purple color towards the center and seemed to yield to a touch more pink as it came towards the edges. Pretty neat look to me. Slight lace ran here and there, somewhat messy after a finger's worth of a light lavender colored head dissipated.
The aroma carried some black cherries sweetly into some black currants, nice and fruity with an ample amount of grassiness and a sly Belgian yeasty/breadiness coming in with a little basement mustiness ever so slightly in the corner. Ever so slight green pepper at the end.
The flavor was moderately sweet with the prior mentioned qualities and all conglomerating together on into the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied, perhaps just a touch under with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good. ABV felt on par. Finish was all about the black cherries and black currants.
Overall, one of those fruited saisons I say, and it's one that I would come back to.

Pours a hazy purple with a lot of fizz and head. Smells of Belgian yeast and tart cherries. Taste is overly tart, the currants come through as sour cherries and predominate the flavor, I get a hint of the base saison in the finish. Light bodied and a little over carbed, gives it a lot of bite. Overall, a little too heavy on the currants for me.

bottled as part of their small batch series, this is easily the most vibrant and genuine use of this fruit I have ever seen in a beer, not even close. the bottle lists the abv at 4.8%. the color is insane, beet purple in color, maybe just a shade lighter towards pink, with a head that's uncontrollable on the pour, rising and flowing over even with a gentle little pour out, insanely alive, and it holds its bright pink head really well. it smells like tart fruit and candy, without much saison yeast present. the fruit is amazing in the flavor, like a handful of almost ripe black currants, its both sweet and tart, and has some good acidity to it. I get more of the saison yeast here, but its still rather subtle, mild Belgian spice notes to it, and some additional tang if this is not all from the fruit. floral and summery, and surprisingly not sweet for what it is and for how intense the color is. ive had plenty of other beers with currants, but I think this one captures the essence of the fruit better than any other, and I like how active it feels on the tongue with all the bubbles. a very impressive beer, I didn't know rock art did the farmhouse ales thing, very well done. id like to get another bottle if I can find one, I think my buddies in Denver would dig this one!

Great taste. Surprisingly tart and sour which makes the flavor. Nice creamy head with a smooth finish. Lite bodied and easy to drink
