I believe this to be the best offering currently coming from this brewpub. The color is a clear dark amber with a light tan head that provided fair lacing. The nose is of hops and so is the flavor. I found this brew to have a very nicely balanced blend of hops that came through from start to finish. The dry finish is probably attributable to this good hop balance. I noted that when the beer warmed the flavor was consistent, but the nose gave off some yeast breadiness that had just a hint of strawberry. Good with food, the "66" designation comes from the location on historic Route 66, also known as Foothills Boulevard in Rancho Cucamonga.
