Pours normal deep amber. Nose it's muted for a big beers caramel, done fruity notes, alcohol. Taste is fossil fuel alcohol some caramel and bitter hops. Even for a barley wine it's strong not hidden well. Mouthfeel big and chewy normal for the style. Overall could be better but not terrible.

Poured from a cask into a snifter, the beer is a hazy, caramel-brown coloring with a thin, white halo of head. Nose of sweet fruit, floral highlights, honey rich and sweet, and some woody notes. Flavors are heavy caramel, tropical fruit, and honey, with a boozy undertone. Rich, robust body, with a heavy fruit and caramel sweet aftertaste. The finish is rich, smooth, and lingering. Wow! Heavy brew!
