A massively hopped IPA with expressions of tropical fruit and nuances of citrus and pine. Medium body with mild bitterness and a clean hop finish.

Got this at tw in Winston -Salem today. It show's retired but it is not. It is a fine example of what an IPA should be. Drink this beer and you'll be happy

A: Pours a relatively clear golden amber in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint copper + apricot highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy off-white head that reduces to a medium sized patch of medium thick film (made up of larger bubbles) surrounded by a thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of pine, herbal, tropical/pineapple, and citrus/grapefruit pith hops over the top of light aromas of biscuit and toasted malts.
T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of biscuit and toasted malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of pine, herbal, tropical/pineapple, and citrus/grapefruit pith hops which imparts a moderate amount of bitterness which fades away fairly quickly.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.
O: Decent but a little too much bittering from the hops and not quite enough aroma/flavor coming from them. Enjoyable but not great.
