Small sample at Salisbury MD Good Beer Festival. Pours an inky black with a decent tan head. Initial impression is chocolate, coffee, and maybe some oaked bourbon. Mouthfeel is silky smooth. Finish invites the next sip. Quite enjoyable!

5 oz pour on tap. For a low-abv barrel aged stout this does pretty well. The aroma and flavor are fairly restrained: dry roasty malts, bitter chocolate, coffee, and a hint of bourbon.
