Brewed in honor / sacrifice to mother nature after floods in the area around the brewery.
Pours a hazy copper color. Thin white frothy head, medium carbonation. Good lacing. Bottle conditioned.
Heavy aroma you can pick up well away from the glass. The main contributors being sweet malt and a bit of yeast character. Maybe some slight floral hops but I'm really reaching.
Hides the abv incredibly well. Light and smooth, caramel malt sweetness in the main, hops very subdued again. A bit of oomph from the malt in the finish, but this could nearly pass for an ordinary bitter. As it warms the finish has a bit more yeast character than it should really. Would like a bit more hop character (no surprise there) to match the dominant malt but certainly an easy drinker.
