375ml Bottle
Poured into a chalice a very nice slightly cloudy, pinkish/orangy color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/foamy/creamy one-finger white head, which also leaves some thick sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, yeasty, very nice spice note, coriander, peppery, with some nice citrus. The taste is very nice, malty, yeasty, spicy, coriander, citrusy, tart. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, really a pretty complex brew, very nice bitter/dryish finish. Overall, this is a very nice brew, surprised me.

12oz. bottle into a Surly teku. Shared by schen9303.
Nose is bright and clean. Hints of yeast, peppercorn, coriander and strawberry with just the most subtle hint of butter. Tastewise, the buttery note comes out in full force. The strawberry is present, lightly tart and sweet but the end is full of hay, peppercorn and butter with a light horse blanket. Funky and fruity and honestly pretty nice if it wasn't for the butteriness. This one's quite drinkable too. Light and aggressive in the mouth and sparkling and crisp going down.
A pretty good beer but this needs some time to (hopefully) clean up.

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color. It poured with a finger high white head that died down, leaving a quarter finger high amount of bubbles covering the surface.
S: Light aromas of sour pumpkins and strawberries are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is a little sour, starting off with flavors of strawberries and finishing with flavors of pumpkins. There are notes of the house yeast that is common to most of the beers from this brewery.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a little dry on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This saison does has a unique blend of aromas and flavors that is also quite interesting.

a brand new one from trinity, really cloudy almost milky yellow with just a tint of pink to it from the tap at the brewery. really heady though, but looks raw and wild. the nose is great, you can smell wild strawberry in all its summer sweetness in a milkshake of wheaty texture and funky yeasts. saison strain seems obvious to me, but there is some brett too, giving this a real farmhouse flare to it, rustic despite the fruit, i really like it. its definitely sweet from the strawberry, thats what that fruit does to things, adds sweetness, but its not one dimensional at all, and its not even off putting because the yeast eats just enough of it, and the dense wheat base almost needs it for balance. very authentic fruit too, you know its the real deal. the mouthfeel is a little weird with all the sediment, but the flavor is good enough for it to not bother me too much. for all the crazy beers trinity makes, i feel like they havent done a ton with fruit yet, so its nice to see them experimenting like this, im sure it will continue. great beer, nothing like it out there at all.
