how cool is this? i feel like this beer begs for these extras, and finally my dreams have come true. ive often thought the hops with the brett in this particular beer give off a fresh peach vibe, its tangible, and to actually add that fruit is such a cool move. i was over the moon to try this one. looks like all the other beers in this series, hazy and heady. the fruit is way forward on the aroma, and i think its neat they used both peaches and apricots. they work well together in this, but for some reason the beer tastes a lot less hoppy than i remember it being. maybe the fruit sugars have forced another fermentation where the hop residuals have decomposed a little but, but it doesnt taste like ipa anymore. that said, the void is more than filled by the fresh fruit, and the little bit of sweetness actually flatters the yeast. the yeast smells a little more cheesy than i remember it too, super weird and foot-like. its a little gross really, but with the fruit it makes sense, like a cheese plate with funky stuff and some sliced fruit, makes sense. overall a pretty cool beer, not up to the expectations i had for it, i like the original much better, but its still awesome, and it was something that really needed to be done. i dont care what anyone says, i love trinity.
