12.7 oz bottle from Grocery Outlet. Reddish brown pour, cloudy, fizzy head. Sour, yeasty aroma, prunes, plums, raisins. Taste starts with sour, brown sugar, pit fruit, sweet, Belgian yeast. Right on target.

Cloudy murky reddish, brown, amber color. Around a medium body with plenty of effervescent champagne like carbonation
Aroma is funk,dry/sour/sugar,dried cherries yeast. The aroma reminds me of a brandy Alexander.
Taste is sugar but it is also incredibly dry. Funk, earthy, yeast show up as well as some cherry. Again there's that brandy Alexander in the taste. A very astringent bitterness is there and gains momentum in the taste and lingers to the point of dominating
This was excellent, well made but can see the astringent bitterness might turn some people off.

Pours a hazy maize color. 2/3 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and slight lacing. Smells of yeast, sweet malt, alcohol, fruity esters, spicy hops, citrus hops, hint of liquor, and slight bacterial funk. Fits the style of a Biere de Garde. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with a high carbonation level. There is also a slight bitterness. Tastes of yeast, sweet malt, alcohol, fruity esters, citrus hops, and slight bacterial funk. Overall, great aroma, sadly body and is much more simplistic and lacking in strength.

Murky caramel brown with no head. Smell captures the foundations of the style and makes them the star: mildly wild yeast, orchard esters, lighthearted funk, and grains to the max, powerful nose with a slightly sour twinge. Taste is not as complex or potent: simply a grainy and malty ale with trace amounts of esters and funk, get some caramel and earth too, but the complexity isn't committed to staying on the palate. Feel is thin, grainy, malty, though very crisp. Solid but nothing worth seeking out, more of a curiosity

12.7 oz. Bottle
ABV: 8.1%

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice hazy dark golden yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which leaves some pretty nice thick/creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, yeasty, kinda tart, pears, licorice. The taste is pretty nice, malty, yeasty, slight tart, with some pears, licorice. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, nice little dry finish. Overall, this one surprised me.

this is a great beer, and very much what i think trinity does best. they have a very warmly mashed and entirely fermented dry sparkling brew here that hides its alcohol scary well and drinks easier than water, a neat tweak of the original one ear, and one of the better trinity beers i have had in some time. looks like champagne in the glass, pale apple juice colored with a tall white head, effervescent to the max, they absolutely got the texture right here. the grain flavors are awesome, a little more robust than the one ear, more oat and wheat on display i think, a cool cereal medley, both light feeling and dry, which is usually not the case when beers taste like their malts. the yeast is cool too, sort of funky but really clean, less weird than many of their others, more rustic and saisony than it is wild yeasty in the sense we usually see from trinity, but wow, its bright and white winey and really complimentary to the grain. even a little hops late here, there is a lot going on for such a cohesive and positively crushable beer. that its as strong as its listed as here is almost impossible for me to believe, its just so delicate. awesome beer!
