Pale, straw yellow body with a hint of cloudiness; coarse and rapidly rising carbonation; thin, soapy head yet lasting. Freshly cut fruit; pear and pineapple; strawberries; a bit of funk with the aroma. Delicious presence of pear and watermelon in the flavor with a bit of lime. Light body; coarse and bubbly on the palate; juicy and semi-sweet.

This beer is very refreshing and easy drinking. The low ABV doesn't hurt a damn thing. The flavors all come across as freshly prepared fruit, even after almost a year (CANNED ON 09/10/18). Hopefully, we'll see this offering again.

the first can i have ever seen from these guys, neat that they are packaging beer this way, i think it makes them more accessible. i liked the beer fine until i had the one ear right after it, which i think puts it to shame in every way, the mouthfeel and the brettiness are both incredible in the one ear, and it got me thinking about what this would be like with more of that character. its hazy straw colored and pretty thick from the can, but it does have a nice head on it. kind of smells and tastes to me like a wit meets a hefe, with a little funk to it. there is a pretty heavy wheat malt base here, not as delicate as i thought it might be for something called a table beer. i get that banana and spice complexion from the yeast, pretty raw really, a light funky note, a bit of earthy spice too, some rye in the mash likely, and soft tanginess as well. i like the flavors, but its not as well refined as it could be, and therefore doesnt drink as easily as it should for the style, although i do like the multigrain base and the esters from the yeast here. this is close, but its not quite there, especially next to the one ear, which totally blew me away from the bottle!

12.7 oz. Bottle

Poured into a Trillium glass a nice hazy pale yellow color, nice carbonation, with a nice small/quick/fizzy white head, which leaves minimal sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, yeasty, tart, funky, with some citrus. The taste is nice, malty, yeasty, with some citrus, nice funkyness, tart. Medium body, ABV is hidden nicely. Overall, a tasty brew.

A: The beer is hazy light yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high bright white head that quickly died down, leaving a thin ring of bubbles around the edge of the the glass and some small patches of bubbles on the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of sourness are present in the nose along with hints of yeast.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a light to moderate amount of sourness. There are some underlying hints of saison yeast that try to peek through and contribute some faint bits of spices towards the finish.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: As a table beer, this is an easy drinking sour that doesn't have an overly strong taste or body. It would pair well with a meal if you are looking for a sour accompaniment.
