12 fl oz pull-tab can acquired at Total Wine & More, Centennial, CO. No canned on or best before date. $12.99 USD plus tax per sixer.
6.4% ABV and features Ekuanot, El Dorado, Simcoe, and Palisade Cryo Hops. "India Pale Ale." "75 hop bursted IBUs."
Served cold into a Samuel Adams perfect pint glass.
Not getting any oniony or garlicky notes from the Simcoe. Not very grassy. Floral. Not piney, overtly citrusy, oily, or grapefruit-forward. Not too bitter, but the finish is more bitter than the beer upfront. Not a "green" IPA (nor a particularly fresh tasting one). Depth of hop flavour is moderate; flavour intensity is limited.
Not a standout beer from Trinity. I'd much sooner drink their Hype Forager, but this is fine despite its inability to showcase its hop varietals particularly well. I don't love the hop profile in general, but it's a drinkable brew.
