Trinity's 'El Lowrider' traditional Mexican lager drinks well all year long, but drops perfectly in the warm months of summer with flaked maize additions for an easy-drinking and subtley-sweet sensationally crafted cerveza.

Hazy, peach and orange colored body; over-carbonated (three cans) with overflowing suds from the can and the glass; white, densely sudsy head, long lasting. Very nice aroma, primarily lime. Sweet, citrus flavor; lime, orange, and sweet grapefruit; mild hop bitterness. Medium-heavy body; coarse with over-carbonation (like a soda pop); mildly acidic; partially dry overall.
This is a beer I'd like to love. The appearance (forgetting about the over-carbonation) is unique and oddly pleasing. The aroma is very enticing with its lime character and the taste holds promise of what it can be, but the mouthfeel and over-carbonation really bring this beer down. Hopefully, future releases (if any) will resolve the carbonation issue.
