Intrusive maltiness, offensively big hoppiness, a definite alcohol burn, and long lingering bitter caramel and burnt toffee. A beer you shouldn't try, and definitely won't like.

Clear, dark amber pour and body; dense, slow-rising carbonation; nice head, light khaki colored with a moderate density, lasting; fat fingers and globs of foam inside the glass. Malt-forward nose; caramel; bit of baking spices. Fabulous flavors; caramel and toffee tones; fine blend of spiciness and booziness; rye and rum; low-key bitterness. Heavy, almost syrupy body; chewy and sticky; bold alcohol warmth permeates everything.
Irritating - hell! This is a beautiful strong ale. Bold, malty flavors carry the day, offset with an interesting spicy note and all wrapped in a warm, boozy blanket of goodness.
ABV: 10.0%; pouring temperature: 46.5 °F; crowler data: 11/21/25
