The menu's description was sparse, but I figured this would be something along the lines of Founders' Rubaeus: very raspberry-heavy, perhaps something akin to a lambic. Turns out it's more like Magic Hat's #9 (only better): a lightly hopped APA with a good amount of fruit flavoring added.
Pours a dark, semi-hazy amber with good fizz and a solid head. Smells lightly of citrus hops with a good dose of fresh raspberry puree. Tastes quite good: sweet and fruity without being cloying or gimmicky. The hops cut into the sharpness of the berries and make them taste more sweet. The entire flavor profile is propped up by a nicely thick body.
