Blended with Shaun Hill of Hill Farmstead and The Lost Abbey's Tomme Arthur, this beer has been a year, and what a year, in the making. Brewed and blended in San Marcos and Dry-Hopped with Cascade that Shaun personally chose, A Small Still Voice was bottled in February, and it's spent all of 2020 slumbering.

Very nice looking and smelling beer. It's a light orange with great clarity and plenty of carbonation resulting in a permanent thing head. Aroma is oak and earthy funk.
Taste is wonderful. Lemongrass, oak and light funk that's hard to describe, but is very, very tasty. Well carbonated, light and lively.
Overall, this is excellent.

750ml bottle, 2020 vintage, poured into a stemless wine glass. Enjoyed on 07.28.2021, reviewed from tasting journal.
The beer has a bright golden color, straw hues, cloudy texture with a foamy white head, decent retention with soapy lacing. The aroma has a lot of peach, earthy oak, wildflower, berry fruit, pale dough, mineral water, some bitter citrus peel, with white wine. The flavors are nice, white grape, wildflower, peach, berry fruit, chewy oak, vanilla, peppercorn, citrus peel, vinous white wine, pale dough offers a good bready base. The mouthfeel is nice, coating, delicate medium body, easy, crisp, lightly tart with a soft finish.
Verdict: A nice wild ale from Hill Farmstead and The Lost Abbey. Bright, delicate, tart, the dry hopping comes through nicely and adds extra depth without becoming overly hoppy, dry, and bitter.

Excellent. Unfiltered golden body. Slight yogurty lactic acidity, bright lemon and citrus, a bit of leafy herbal spice on the backend. Distinctly Lost Abbey house character. Medium bodied, effervescent, lots of flavor and drinkability to boot.

Under a softly moderate white foam head, this brightly glowing golden ale exhibits more Hill qualities than I came in expecting, such as the light farmhouse characteristics of straw with mildly tart lemon and pear accented by a pleasantly clean barrel oak through a delicately frothy body. The slightly higher Lost Abbey acids are kept well in check.

This one pours a golden clear yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like pear skin, stone fruit, white wine, grassy funk, lemon rind, and oak.
This is really, really solid stuff. It's less fruity and tart than the typical HF saison, with a drier, almost more traditional feel. There's a nice dry white wine character, oak spice, clove, lemon, some malty sweetness, and just a hint of tartness.
This is light bodied, very clean tasting, and very drinkable.
This is really good representation and mashing up of two excellent breweries.
