Clear dark amber brew with dissipating foam in the Piraat tulip. Quite aromatic with grapefruit and and a sourish nose. Rather sweet to start with some canned peaches but not any real malt flavor. Tastes of orange liqueur and grapefruit pith with a little too much Aperol. Very hot with alcohol and bitter. Overall this is totally doped up and way austere in case you ARE worthy. Too bitter and intense for much enjoyment even with small sips. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bine & Vine. Dated 09/02/25. I love the name for some reason, but not the beer.

Gorgeous gold to copper in hue. A firm 2 inches of off-white fluff jumps up, hangs for a good spell, and finally settles down to a silky cap. Solid retention with clumpy gossamer lacing.
Nose displays an intriguing mix of citrus, peach, and notes that are both herbal and fruit sour candy, in a good way.
The flavor is more of a mixed salad, can earthy mixed salad, of papaya, orange rind, green grass, and the flavor of a the flesh of a really ripe peach-especially around the stone. Again a bit of sour candy, but with a meeting of orange lifesavers.
Mouthfeel is nice. Good heft, decent carbonation, and a smooth, dry, bitter finish.

Excellent IPA despite higher abv.A very good drinker. On tap at The Confessional. Better than expected. A model hoppy beer, without murk or haze or burn.
