Appearance - 3.5
A clear, straw yellow with a small white head that had good retention.
Smell - 3.5
Semi-sweet and slightly fruity. Not a lot of hop presence.
Taste - 3.5
The slight fruitiness continues, it is also a little sweeter than usual for the style. Finishes with a low level of bitterness, very tasty overall, but more hops would be nice.
Mouthfeel - 4.0
Fine carbonation, feels quite light in the mouth.
Drinkability - 4.0
Definitely sessionable and very easy to drink.
OVERALL - 3.6
The Cidery claims this is a "czech pilsener style beer" which I would dispute due to the general lack of hops. However, this is a very tasty, very drinkable lager that simply blows away the mainstream lagers of Western Australia.
